GS1 Sunrise 2027 means retail point-of-sale in 48+ countries will accept 2D barcodes. A GS1 Digital Link encodes your GTIN as a URL (https://brand.com/01/09506000134352), so one QR works at checkout and opens a product page, instructions, recall status or a Digital Product Passport on a phone.
